It’s very humbling to say that Lyle and I have hit some really tough times, but I have to brag on God and the people who serve Him.
A few weeks ago I wasn’t sure how my girls would get Christmas because of our serious financial crisis. I thought in the natural, this Christmas would be slim pickings. But, I knew God was faithful because I have seen it time and time again.
We continued with taking our daily communion with the girls, continued worshiping God even in the lack & yes it was very hard honestly, and quoting our scriptures that we were standing on.
Around the first week of December some friends told us that they were going to help with presents for the girls and try and raise some funds from her spouses employer to help us. Two nights ago, we got the gifts and $275. My friend also reached out or either other people heard what she was doing and they also wanted to give us money to help us prepare our Christmas dinner. They gave us $75. I’m giving you specifics to encourage your faith. As you can see, it takes a lot to keep this household fed. LOL, we love to eat!
Three or four days ago, I mentioned to Lyle that I wanted steak for Christmas knowing that we couldn’t afford steak for Christmas. Today, another friend whom we hadn’t seen in a very long time called & said God laid us on their hearts & wanted to come over & bless us. He & his family brought us steak as well as 2 boxes of meat, fresh farm eggs, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and $200. Look at God! Whew, I am so overwhelmed by God’s goodness. Don’t ever underestimate God! He does over and above what we can ask or think!
Right now, our freezer is full, pantry is full (until these 4 girls get to eating.. LOL), and Christmas is here and so are my steaks! Yay God!
You might be feeling there is no room at the Inn (meaning you need provisions) just like what happened to Mary & Joseph when they were trying to find some accommodations, instead all they had was a small little stable. I hope that makes sense. I am typing so quickly.
My friend, let me tell you, God hasn’t forgotten or been deaf to all of your silent cries. He has counted & numbered your very hairs on your head and collected every tear you have cried. He loves you so much and wants you to know that you are not forgotten. And, He really does want you to have a very Merry Christmas since He is The Reason for the Season!
Whatever you are facing, be encouraged. If God can do it for us, He most certainly can do it for you! Keep Believing & Never give up! I’m so glad I didn’t give up.
I can’t wait to hear your testimonies! God truly has enough room and gifts for you and your family. Merry CHRISTmas!
God’s Richest for you & your family this Christmas Season.
Love you all!
